Can you briefly describe what you do?
We’re responsible for keeping and maintaining the power for the University of Virginia.
How long have you worked at Facilities Management?
I’ve been here at the University for nine years.
What do you feel was your greatest accomplishment at work this past year?
My greatest accomplishment at work this past year would be installing the new feeders for Ivy Corridor and Football Operations.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Earlysville, Virginia.
Did you have a dream job as a child?
My dream job would’ve been being a farm manager.
What do you like to do in your time outside of work?
What I like to do outside of work would be hunting and farming and spending time with my wife and two young sons.
Who or what inspires you and why?
My sons inspire me because I’m trying to give them the best “life” life can offer.
Can you share a great piece of advice you’ve been given?
The best advice I have been given I think would be, to be better than I was yesterday.
What is the best part of your day?
The best part of my day is going home and spending time with my family.
What’s one place in the world that you would like to visit that you haven’t before?
One thing on my bucket list would be going out west to hunt whitetail deer.
